1. Prophet Adam (AS) – The First Human and First Lesson in Forgiveness
Prophet Adam (AS) is the first human being created by Allah. Allah created him from clay and honored him by teaching him knowledge and giving him intelligence. Allah also created Hawwa (Eve) as his companion, and they lived together in Paradise.
Allah allowed them to enjoy everything in Paradise except one tree. However, Shaytan tricked them into eating from it by whispering lies and making it look attractive. After they ate from it, they immediately realized their mistake and felt very sorry.
Instead of giving up, Prophet Adam (AS) and Hawwa turned to Allah sincerely and asked for forgiveness. Allah, being Most Merciful, accepted their repentance and forgave them.
After that, Allah sent them to live on Earth, where they would start a new life and build human generations.
“Then Adam received words from his Lord, so He accepted his repentance.”
Lesson for Kids:
- Always admit your mistakes and ask Allah for forgiveness
- Never listen to Shaytan’s whispers
- Allah is Most Merciful and always forgives

2. Prophet Nuh (AS) – The Longest Patience
Prophet Nuh (AS) was sent to guide his people to worship Allah alone. He preached to them for many years with patience and kindness, reminding them about Allah’s mercy and punishment.
But most of his people refused to listen and even mocked him. They laughed at him when he built a huge ark on Allah’s command, especially because there was no sea nearby.
Prophet Nuh (AS) continued working and trusted Allah completely. When the great flood came as a punishment for disbelievers, Allah told him to take the believers and animals into the ark.
The ark floated safely on the water, and only those who believed were saved.
“He said: My Lord, I called my people night and day.”
Lesson for Kids:
- Be patient when people do not understand you
- Always trust Allah’s commands
- Faith and patience bring success
3. Prophet Ibrahim (AS) – Breaking Idols with Courage
Prophet Ibrahim (AS) grew up in a society that worshipped idols, but he knew in his heart that idols cannot hear or help anyone. He called his people to worship Allah alone, but they refused to listen.
To show them the truth, he broke their idols and explained that they cannot protect themselves. This made his people very angry, and they decided to punish him.
They threw Prophet Ibrahim (AS) into a huge fire, but by Allah’s command, the fire became cool and safe for him, and he was not harmed at all.
After this miracle, Ibrahim (AS) became even stronger in his faith and continued calling people to Allah.
“We said: O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham.”
Lesson for Kids:

When Ibrahim told Ismail about the dream, Ismail did not complain or refuse. Instead, he accepted Allah’s command and said he would be patient and obedient.
When they were ready to follow the command, Allah replaced Ismail with a ram, showing that it was a test of faith and obedience.
Allah was pleased with both Ibrahim and Ismail because of their strong trust in Him.

Prophet Yusuf (AS) was loved very much by his father, which made his brothers jealous. They decided to harm him and threw him into a deep well, leaving him there alone.
A traveling caravan found him and took him to Egypt, where he went through many challenges, including being wrongly put in prison.
Even in prison, Prophet Yusuf (AS) remained patient and trusted Allah. Because of his wisdom and good character, he later became an important leader in Egypt.
At the end, Allah reunited him with his family, and he forgave his brothers instead of taking revenge.

Lesson for Kids:
- Patience leads to success
- Forgiveness is better than revenge
- Allah can change sadness into happiness
6. Prophet Musa (AS) – Facing a Tyrant with Faith
Prophet Musa (AS) was sent by Allah to guide the Children of Israel and to stand against Pharaoh, a very cruel ruler who was very proud and believed he was a god. Pharaoh used to hurt people, enslave them, and take away their freedom.
Allah chose Prophet Musa (AS) and his brother Harun (AS) to go to Pharaoh and torture him to worship Allah alone. Musa (AS) spoke with courage, even though Pharaoh was powerful and had a strong army. He reminded him that Allah is the only true God and the Creator of everything.
To support Musa (AS), Allah gave him many miracles. One of them was when his staff turned into a real snake when thrown on the ground. Another miracle was his hand shining with a bright light when he placed it under his arm. These miracles showed people that Musa (AS) was truly sent by Allah.
Pharaoh and his people refused to believe and tried to challenge Musa (AS) with their magicians. But Allah supported Musa (AS), and the magicians eventually believed in him when they saw the truth. This made Pharaoh even angrier, and he continued to chase Musa and the believers.
When Musa (AS) and his people reached the sea while escaping Pharaoh’s army, they were very scared. But Allah told Musa (AS) not to fear. By Allah’s command, Musa struck the sea with his staff, and the sea split into two huge walls of water, leaving a dry path in the middle.
Musa (AS) and the believers crossed safely. When Pharaoh and his army followed them, the sea closed again by Allah’s command, and Pharaoh drowned with his soldiers. At that moment, he realized the truth, but it was too late.
“So We inspired Moses: Strike the sea with your staff, and it split.”
Lesson for Kids:
- Always stand for truth, even if you are facing powerful people
- Never lose hope when things seem impossible
- Allah helps and protects those who believe in Him
- Wrongdoing and oppression never last forever

Later, Allah gave him wisdom, knowledge, and made him a righteous king.

“And David killed Goliath.”

Allah accepted his du’a and saved him from the whale, showing His mercy and forgiveness.

10. Prophet Isa (AS) – A Life Full of Miracles
Prophet Isa (AS), known as Jesus, is one of the great prophets of Allah. His story is full of amazing miracles that show Allah’s power and mercy.
He was born in a very special way. His mother, Maryam (AS), was a pure and righteous woman who worshipped Allah sincerely. One day, Allah sent Angel Jibreel to give her the good news that she would have a child, even though she was not married. This was a great miracle from Allah.
When Prophet Isa (AS) was born, people were surprised and questioned Maryam. But Allah made baby Isa speak from the cradle, and he defended his mother by saying that he was a servant of Allah and a prophet.
As he grew up, Allah gave Prophet Isa (AS) many miracles. He could heal blind people, cure the sick, and even bring the dead back to life—all by Allah’s permission. He always reminded people that these miracles were not from him, but only by Allah’s power.
Prophet Isa (AS) called people to worship Allah alone and to be kind, honest, and humble. Some people believed in him, while others rejected his message.
Allah protected Prophet Isa (AS) and raised him to the heavens. Muslims believe he is still alive and will return before the Day of Judgment.
“I make for you out of clay the shape of a bird.”

- Always remember that all power belongs to Allah
- Trust Allah even when things seem difficult

He called people to worship Allah alone and taught kindness, honesty, patience, and respect. He helped the poor, cared for children, and always forgave others.
Even when people hurt him, he remained patient and prayed for their guidance instead of revenge.

FAQs
Exploring the lives of the Prophets often sparks a lot of curiosity in young minds! Here are some of the most common questions kids ask, answered in a simple and clear way.
1. How many Prophets did Allah send to the world?
While the Quran mentions 25 Prophets by name, there were actually many more throughout history. Some Hadith (traditions) mention that Allah sent 124,000 Prophets to different nations all over the world to ensure every group of people received the message of truth.
2. Who was the first and who was the last Prophet?
The First: Prophet Adam (AS), who was also the first human being created.
The Last: Prophet Muhammad (SAW). After him, no more Prophets will be sent, as the Quran is the final and complete guide for all of humanity.
3. Why do we say “Alayhi Salam” (AS) or “Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam” (SAW)?
These are phrases of respect and love.
AS (Alayhi Salam): Means “Peace be upon him.” We say this for all Prophets.
SAW (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam): Means “May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him.” This is a special prayer specifically for Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
4. Did all the Prophets have miracles?
Yes! Allah gave every Prophet miracles to prove they were telling the truth. These miracles were usually related to what the people of that time were good at. For example:
In the time of Musa (AS), people were good at magic, so he was given a staff that turned into a real snake.
In the time of Isa (AS), people were good at medicine, so he was given the power to heal the sick by Allah’s leave.
5. Why are the stories of the Prophets important for kids today?
Even though these stories happened a long time ago, the challenges the Prophets faced are like the ones we face today. They teach us how to deal with:
Peer pressure (like Prophet Ibrahim AS).
Sibling jealousy (like Prophet Yusuf AS).
Difficult tasks (like Prophet Nuh AS). By following their examples, we learn how to make the best choices in our own lives.
6. Can I be a Prophet too?
No, Prophethood is a special gift that Allah chose for specific men in the past. However, you can be a follower of the Prophets by practicing their “Super Qualities”—honesty, kindness, bravery, and patience!
7. What is the difference between a Nabi and a Rasool?
This is a great question for young scholars!
A Nabi is a Prophet sent to remind people of the laws that were already there.
A Rasool is a Messenger who was given a new Divine Book (like the Torah given to Musa AS or the Quran given to Muhammad SAW). Every Rasool is a Nabi, but not every Nabi is a Rasool!
