General Terms and Conditions (GTC) & Refund Policy

Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) for Online Courses

Effective date: 02.08.2025

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to all contracts for participation
in online courses concluded between [Your Name/Your Company] (hereinafter
referred to as “Provider”) and the participants (hereinafter referred to
as “Customer”).

2. Conclusion of Contract and Right of Withdrawal

2.1 Conclusion of Contract

Booking a course via our website constitutes a binding offer by the
Customer. The contract is concluded when the Provider accepts this offer
by sending a booking confirmation via email.

2.2 Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days
without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from
the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([Your
Name/Company, Address, Email Address]) of your decision to withdraw from
this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by
post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but
it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your
notification regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before
the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal:
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments
received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days
from the day we receive the notification of your withdrawal. The same
payment method used in the original transaction will be used for the
reimbursement unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.

2.3 Early Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires for contracts involving the delivery
of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if the Provider
has begun the execution of the contract after the Customer has:

  • expressly agreed that the Provider may begin executing the
contract before the end of the withdrawal period, and
  • acknowledged that by doing so, they lose their right of withdrawal
    once execution has started.

3. Services and Appointments

3.1 Provider Obligations

The Provider undertakes to conduct the agreed teaching units punctually,
professionally, and according to the course description. If a teaching
unit is cancelled for reasons attributable to the Provider (e.g. technical
problems, illness), a replacement date will be offered or the fee for the
cancelled unit will not be charged or will be refunded.

3.2 Appointment Binding and Customer Cancellation

Booked individual appointments are binding. Free cancellation or
rescheduling by the Customer is possible up to 24 hours before the
agreed start time in written form (e.g., by email). For later
cancellations or no-shows, the full fee applies, as the time is
exclusively reserved for the Customer.

4. Customer Obligations

The Customer is responsible for punctual participation and for a
functioning technical setup (stable internet connection, camera,
microphone, etc.). Technical disruptions or failures on the Customer’s
side do not entitle them to a refund or a free rescheduling of the
appointment.

5. Contract Term and Termination of Subscriptions

5.1 Minimum Term

Subscriptions are subject to the minimum contract period specified
during the booking process (e.g., 1 month).

5.2 Contract Renewal and Termination

If the subscription is not terminated before the end of the minimum
term, it will be extended indefinitely. After this extension, the
Customer may terminate the contract at any time with one month’s notice.

Termination must be in written form (e.g., by email) or via the legally
required termination button on the website.

6. Special Circumstances (Illness)

In the event of verified long-term illness or other serious and
unforeseeable circumstances preventing participation, the Provider
will endeavor to find an amicable solution (e.g., pausing the course,
credit). No general entitlement exists.

7. Refund Policy

7.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal

A full refund of all payments will be made if the Customer withdraws
from the contract within the 14-day withdrawal period according to
section 2.2.

7.2 Provider-Related Cancellations

If a teaching unit is cancelled for reasons attributable to the
Provider (see section 3.1), the Customer is entitled to a full
refund of the fee for this unit if no replacement date is agreed.

7.3 No Entitlement to Refund

No refund is provided in the following cases, in particular:

  • Cancellation of individual appointments by the Customer less than 24 hours before the start.
  • No-show by the Customer at the agreed appointment.
  • Technical problems on the Customer’s side (e.g., unstable internet, faulty hardware).
  • After the start of contract execution, if the Customer agreed to the early expiration of their right of withdrawal (see section 2.3).

7.4 Refund Processing

Refunds are always processed via the same payment method used for
the original booking.

8. Final Provisions

Should individual provisions of these T&Cs be or become invalid,
this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
The statutory provisions shall apply instead of the invalid provisions.
